Childish Story
Once upon a time, two beautiful baby girls were born on opposite
sides of the world. One had blonde hair and blue eyes, and grew
up in the lush, tropical splendour of South Africa, where she
became a greatly respected Social Worker. Her name was Leanne.
The other had brown hair and brown eyes and lived in Canada,
where she learned to skate, ski and scale the corporate ladder.
Her name was Judith.
Now it just so happened that Judi and Leanne were married to men
who had been the greatest of friends since childhood. On a trip
back to South Africa, Jason paid Derek a visit, and their wives
met for the first time. As they were bathing their babies (who
were born on opposite sides of the world, only four days
apart!), Leanne introduced her new friend to the wonders of the
Daphné Bath Seat. It was love at first seat. Judi was amazed
that such a useful baby product was not available to mothers in
Canada. And that was the start of Childish Notions.
Since that day, Judi and Leanne (who moved to Canada with Derek
in 1998) have quit their jobs and devoted themselves to their
growing families, and their search for innovative and practical
childcare products that make mothering a little easier.
And they are both living happily ever after. |
